Discover the Elemental Forces in Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves' elemental system has evolved significantly in Version 2.0. Initially, elements provided character buffs and enemy resistances, but lacked deep interaction. The update introduces Elemental Effects, allowing for more direct interactions beyond passive benefits.

Elemental Status Effects and Debuffs:

While some elemental effects existed previously (e.g., Glacio's freeze), Version 2.0 expands this significantly. Each element now has a unique status effect, often a damage-over-time (DoT) effect. These effects can be stacked, and dodging removes stacks.

Resonators, Echoes, and Echo Sets:

Currently, the utilization of Elemental Effects is limited. Only a few Resonators, Echoes, and Echo sets interact with them.

Resonators Applying Elemental Effects:

Only Spectro Rover (post-Version 2.0 update) can apply Elemental Effects. Its Resonance Skill's Resonating Spin variant applies Spectro Frazzle, and the Shimmer effect prevents stack decay, allowing for sustained effect buildup.

Echoes and Echo Sets:

Currently, only one Echo set benefits from Elemental Effects (primarily Spectro Frazzle for Spectro Rover):

• Eternal Radiance (Echo Set): 2pc: +10% Spectro DMG. 5pc: Spectro Frazzle increases Crit. Rate by 20% for 15s; 10 stacks grant 15% Spectro DMG Bonus for 15s.
• Nightmare (Echo): Increases Spectro DMG dealt to enemies with Spectro Frazzle by 100%. Provides a 12% Spectro DMG Bonus.

While the system is currently niche, future updates may expand the use of Elemental Effects in Wuthering Waves.
