Fallout 76's Season 20 Adds Ghoul Transformation and New Gameplay Mechanics

Bethesda has just unveiled the thrilling details of Fallout 76 Season 20: "Glow of the Ghoul." This exciting update introduces a game-changing mechanic: ghoul transformation. Become a ghoul and enjoy complete radiation immunity—radiation will actually heal you! However, be warned: some factions may become hostile towards ghouls, dramatically changing your interactions within the game.

Available to players from level 50 onwards, this transformation eliminates the need to worry about hunger and thirst. But it also introduces a new layer of strategy: managing your feral progression and radiation levels. Higher radiation levels unlock unique and powerful perks, adding significant depth to your gameplay. You can even customize your C.A.M.P. with radioactive-themed decorations to fully embrace your new form. And if you decide the ghoul life isn't for you, reverting to human form is always an option.
