Star Wars Outlaws Title Update 1.4 Arrives November 21st

Star Wars Outlaws' New Creative Director Highlights Three Key Improvement Areas

Ubisoft's new Creative Director, Drew Rechner, announced plans for Star Wars Outlaws' first major post-launch update. This update, described as the "biggest yet," will launch on November 21st, coinciding with the game's Steam release and the debut of its first DLC. The update directly addresses community feedback concerning combat, stealth, and controls, aiming to enhance game mechanics and overall player experience.

Rechner expressed sincere gratitude to the Outlaws community for their enthusiastic support, citing fan art, comments, and videos as examples. He specifically acknowledged the constructive criticism received, stating, "Thank you for sharing with us and helping us make the game even better."

Building upon three prior title updates that addressed bugs, refined mission mechanics, and improved speeder handling, Massive Entertainment is actively addressing major community concerns. These improvements enhance the gameplay experience across diverse environments.

Despite a positive 90/100 score from Game8, which lauded the game as "an exceptional game that does justice to the Star Wars franchise," Rechner identified three key areas for further enhancement. The developer update outlines these areas as targets for improvement.
