GTA V PC Release Set for March 4

by Nathan May 01,2025

After over two years of anticipation, PC players of *Grand Theft Auto V* are in for a treat with a major update set to launch on March 4. This significant update will align the PC version with the advanced features introduced in the native PS5 and Xbox Series versions back in 2022. The best part? It's completely free for all current players, with seamless transfer of progress in both GTA Online and Story Mode without any extra steps required.

The lion's share of this upgrade focuses on enhancing *GTA Online*, bringing a wealth of previously inaccessible content to PC players. Moreover, the GTA+ subscription, offering exclusive perks like accelerated profit collection from in-game businesses, will now be available on PC. Rockstar Games has also stepped up its game by bolstering anti-cheat measures to ensure a fairer playing field.

Alongside gameplay enhancements, the update introduces notable graphical improvements. However, these come at the cost of higher system requirements. Players with hardware that can't meet these new standards will have the option to continue playing the older version, which will still receive support from the developers. It's worth noting, though, that there won't be any cross-version play, meaning players on different versions won't be able to play together. Keep this in mind as you plan your gaming sessions.
