How to Get All Hidden Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

For all you completionists and trophy hunters diving into *Monster Hunter Wilds*, the thrill of unlocking those elusive achievements awaits. We're here to guide you through securing every hidden achievement in the game, ensuring you can boast about your prowess as a seasoned hunter.

All Hidden and Secret Achievements in Monster Hunter Wilds

In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, you'll encounter 12 secret achievements. Seven of these are linked to the main story, unlocking naturally as you progress through the game. The remaining five are tied to optional objectives, which we've detailed below:

  • I Caught a Shooting Star!: Caught a creature in the desert that shines like a shooting star.
  • A Prize Held High: Caught a creature that bears an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
  • A Legacy Restored: Obtained an Artian Weapon of Rarity 8.
  • Seasoned Hunter: Hunted 50 Tempered monsters.
  • Top of the Food Chain: Hunted 50 Apex Predators.

While some achievements are straightforward, others require a bit of strategy. Let's dive into how to unlock each one:

I Caught a Shooting Star!

To catch this elusive creature, head to Zone 11 of the Windward Plains at night. Equip yourself with screamer pods and keep an eye out for a Baunos near the gathering spots. Once you spot it, use your screamer pods to stun it, then swiftly capture it with your Capture Net.

A Prize Held High

You can achieve this in any map, but Zone 6 of the Scarlet Forest is ideal. Look for a small puddle of water in a tight corner or dead end. Use your Capture Net to catch the small golden crab lurking there. Alma will often hint at the presence of the Ancient Wyvern Coin by commenting on the creature's possession.

A Legacy Restored

Once you're into High Rank missions, focus on crafting Artian gear. To obtain Rarity 8 weapons, you'll need to hunt Tempered monsters using Rarity 7 gear, ensuring you gather the necessary materials.

Seasoned Hunter

Don't mix up Tempered monsters with Frenzied ones; the former are marked in purple on your minimap, while the latter are outlined in red. Begin hunting these from Chapter 4 onwards when High Rank content becomes available. Both slaying and capturing will contribute to this achievement.

Top of the Food Chain

This achievement is clear-cut, but remember, only specific monsters qualify as Apex Predators: Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad. Hunt 50 of these to claim your spot at the top.

With these strategies, you're well on your way to unlocking all hidden achievements in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and the latest game information, including the best gathering sets to use, keep an eye on The Escapist.
