Welcome to the ultimate Hollow Era Shinigami progression guide, a Roblox game inspired by the iconic Bleach anime universe. In this guide, we'll focus on your journey as a Shinigami (Soul Reaper), one of the two archetypes available alongside the Hollow. Ready your sword, harness your Reiatsu, and let's delve into the world of Hollow Era.
At the start of Hollow Era, you begin as a Soul Spirit. To ascend to the ranks of a Shinigami, or Soul Reaper, you must accept the initial quest from the NPC known as Hurt Shinigami. She's in dire need of assistance, and once you commit to the path of the Shinigami, there's no going back—your journey as a Hollow is barred unless you later choose to become a Visored. If the allure of the Hollow calls to you, check out our separate guide on Hollow progression.

Time is of the essence during the Shinigami/Hollow selection. Opting for a Hollow requires breaking your chain, while choosing Shinigami means your chain will slowly break regardless of your actions. Every two minutes, a section of the chain breaks, and if you let it fully break, you'll transform into a Hollow. In such a case, refer to our resurrection moves lists for your Hollow endgame strategies.
Your first mission as a Shinigami involves purifying 6 Lost Souls, aligning with your duty to maintain the balance between life and death. Following this, you'll find your next quest from an NPC near Hurt Shinigami, requiring you to deliver a letter to a Doctor friend near the hospital.

This early stage is an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with your powers. Consider purchasing a $1,000 random sword of power from the Urahara shop. If budget allows, utilize the bus stop for fast travel at $200, given the vast map size. Alternatively, you can buy infinite fast travel for 149 Robux in the Robux Shop.

Quests are marked with a red crosshair and progress through defeating Hollows, Corrupted Shinigamis, and more until you reach level 15. You'll encounter repeatable quests, progression quests, and quests linked to specific paths like Vizard and Airwalk.

Maximizing your Shinigami Reiatsu requires strategic skill point allocation. The Reiatsu Skill Tree offers powerful Kido abilities exclusive to Shinigami characters.
To unlock Shikai in Hollow Era, you must reach level 15 and visit Urihiro for the Shikai Training quest. Your challenge is to defeat Urahara Kisuke for 1,700 exp, unlocking Shikai powers upon success.

Warning: Facing Kisuke at level 15 can be tough if you're not optimized. Feel free to grind up to level 25 or higher before taking on this challenge.
Upon unlocking Shikai, your weapon gains a random mighty ability. If you're unsatisfied, you can re-roll it at the Urahara Shop for cash. Shikai is activated by filling your Rage Bar, which accumulates through dealing or receiving damage. Press Y (default keybind) to activate Shikai, which ends when you run out of Reiatsu or release the key.
Your Shikai Mastery Level depends on the Mastery Points you earn by using Shikai Skills. A higher Mastery Level reduces the Rage spent during Shikai usage and comes with different aura effects and character appearances.
Once you commit to the Shinigami path, becoming a Hollow is off-limits—unless you choose to become a Visored. At level 50, you can unlock the Vizard fighting style at the Vizard’s Warehouse. This path lets you harness Hollow powers, breaking the barrier between Shinigami and Hollow with the aid of your Hollow Mask.

To fully become a Visored, you'll need Hogyoku, a mysterious orb that dissolves the boundaries between Hollow and Shinigami. Obtain it by defeating the King of Hueco Mundo, though be prepared for its mere 1% drop rate. This step is just the beginning of your Visored journey.
As a Visored, you'll gain immediate benefits like Mask Control, reducing the risk of Hollow control, and the Visored node, extending your mask-wearing time and boosting damage output from your new Hollow powers.

As of this guide's writing, Bankai is not available in Hollow Era. However, given the game's popularity, it's likely to be added in future updates. Keep an eye out for announcements, as no release date has been confirmed yet.

This concludes our Hollow Era Shinigami progression guide. Remember, the game is still in development, so expect some bugs and lag. In the meantime, don't forget to claim your Hollow Era codes for early buffs—they might just give you the edge you need!
