How To Summon A Hoverboard in Hyper Light Breaker

Summoning the Hoverboard is simple: hold down the Dodge button. Your character will dash, then automatically mount the Hoverboard as long as you maintain the Dodge input.

Hoverboard control is intuitive. The left analog stick controls direction; leaning increases with speed, making slower turns more precise. Release the Dodge button to dismount. The Hoverboard will also automatically deactivate if your Energy runs out.

Your Energy level is displayed beside your companion. Discontinue use briefly to replenish Energy and avoid unexpected dismounts.

Hoverboard Movement Techniques & Applications

While the Hoverboard lacks trick or attack functions, its unique properties are invaluable. Notably, it floats on water, eliminating water obstacles. Its land and water performance is identical; simply maintain Hoverboard activation upon water entry.
