LEGO has unveiled an exciting lineup of nine new Star Wars sets, all set to hit the shelves on May 1, 2025. These releases are timed perfectly with Disney's celebration of May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day. LEGO traditionally marks this occasion with the launch of a new Ultimate Collector Series Starship. In 2023, fans were treated to Luke's X-Wing Starfighter, followed by the TIE Interceptor in 2024.
This year, LEGO is introducing Jango Fett's Firespray Starship, popularly known among veteran Star Wars enthusiasts as Slave I (available at the LEGO Store). It's worth noting that the name was changed to Jango Fett's Firespray Starship back in 2021 at Disney's request, a change LEGO has confirmed will remain permanent, likely due to sensitivities around the term 'slave'.

The last substantial iteration of this LEGO starship was released in 2019 to commemorate its 20th anniversary. That version, with 1007 pieces, was inspired by the ship's appearance in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. The newly announced set, boasting 2970 pieces, replicates the ship as seen in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones. This latest model is nearly three times larger than its predecessor, measuring 7.5 inches in height, 17.5 inches in length, and 15.5 inches in width.
