Marvel Rivals Meta: No More Third-Party Tracking

Marvel Rivals' inaugural competitive season is rapidly approaching, and the game's popularity is exploding! Even Tim Sweeney's positive comments about the game's fun factor speak volumes.

What's even more impressive is the developers' commitment to player transparency. NetEase has publicly released win and pick rate data for all heroes, making it significantly easier to track the game's meta.

This eliminates the need for players to rely on third-party data sources to assess hero strength. Currently, the data reveals Doctor Strange as the most frequently picked hero at the highest skill levels, boasting a remarkable 34% pick rate and a strong 51.87% win rate. Mantis and Luna Snow round out the top three most popular characters.

However, the highest win rates belong to Hulk, Magik, and Iron Fist. Interestingly, Hulk is slated for a nerf in the first season, while Magik will receive a buff. This disparity likely stems from Hulk's significantly higher pick rate—roughly double that of Magik.

Marvel Rivals is clearly a frontrunner in the current gaming landscape, and the developers' continued dedication to improvement is truly commendable.
