Pawn Shop and 'Fancy Stuff' Added in Schedule I Update 0.3.4

by Blake Apr 11,2025

Independent developer Tyler has just rolled out the much-anticipated 0.3.4 update for *Schedule I*, the viral hit drug dealer simulator, following a short testing phase. The update, detailed in the Steam patch notes, marks the first significant content expansion since the game's explosive early access launch on March 24.

The 0.3.4 update introduces a variety of new features, including a fully functional pawn shop and boutique store named Bleuballs Boutique, along with an assortment of wall decorations such as signs, shelves, safes, lamps, clocks, and paintings. Players can now also sell various items (excluding product) to Mick at the pawn shop. Additionally, new decorative items like Ol' Man Jimmy's Whiskey, Château La Peepee, Brut du Gloop, watches, chains, gold bars, and even a pre-owned toilet and a golden toilet have been added.

In a heartfelt post on Steam, Tyler apologized for the delay in releasing the update, stating, "I'm still ironing out the update/testing process." He assured players that future updates would be smoother and more timely, promising larger monthly updates starting next month. Tyler also outlined his priorities for the next steps, which include:

  • Ensuring employees work consistently and without issues.
  • Preventing save game corruption and disappearance, with plans to improve the save file format in collaboration with Valve for better integration with Steam Cloud saves.
  • Minimizing disconnections and loading issues in multiplayer.

Furthermore, Tyler is focused on optimizing the game and aims to get *Schedule I* verified for Steam Deck, setting this as his performance benchmark.

For players looking to dive deeper into the game, IGN's Schedule I guide offers comprehensive insights on mixing recipes, creating new blends for maximum profit, accessing console commands, and the fastest way to enter multiplayer co-op to conquer Hyland Point with friends.

Schedule I was the top-selling game on Steam upon its launch, outpacing big names like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals, fueled by its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube. In the game, players start as small-time dealers and can rise to become kingpins, managing the production and distribution of various drugs in the gritty city of Hyland Point. Players can expand their empire by acquiring properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, an Australian indie studio led by Tyler, the game's launch has been described as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a reddit post, Tyler expressed his surprise at the game's reception, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment, I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
