Project Tower: How to Beat Kupolovrax

by Lillian Mar 17,2025

Conquering Kupolovrax, the formidable boss in Project Tower, can be a challenging endeavor. His projectile attacks demand careful evasion, often leading to repeated attempts. However, mastering a few key strategies significantly improves your chances of victory.

While Kupolovrax's segmented design might suggest targeting specific areas, damage seems effective against his carapace as well.

Project Tower: Kupolovrax Boss Guide

Phase 1

Kupolovrax Phase 1

The fight begins with Kupolovrax on the platform. Maintain distance, consistently fire, and utilize these evasion techniques:

  • Orb Ring Fall: Kupolovrax drops rings of orbs from the platform's edge. Look up, and perform a dodge roll just before impact.
  • Orb Scattershot Fall: Similar to the ring fall, but orbs scatter. Strafe to avoid them, using dodge rolls for close calls.
  • Orb Line Push: This is the toughest Phase 1 attack. Several orb lines target you. Either strafe through the gaps, or wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward.
  • Stomp: Kupolovrax stomps, creating a shockwave. Simply jump over the shockwave while continuing your attack.

Phase 2

Kupolovrax Phase 2

Around 66% health, Kupolovrax takes flight. Continue maintaining distance and firing, employing these strategies:

  • Orb Scattershot Fall: Orbs slowly descend. Keep an eye on the sky and strafe to avoid them.
  • Orb Ring Push: Rings of orbs close in. Hold your position until the last moment, then dodge roll left or right.
  • Orb Line Push: Similar to Phase 1. Wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and dash forward. Alternatively, dodge roll left or right, then dash in the opposite direction.

Phase 3

Kupolovrax Phase 3

Triggered at approximately 33% health, Phase 3 resembles Phase 2, but with a modified attack:

  • Modified Orb Ring Push: This three-part attack consists of converging rings, two quick ring pushes, and falling orb rings. Hold your position, dodge roll left, immediately dash right, and then walk forward to avoid the falling orbs.
