Callie, from Squid Sisters, shared that Deep Cut once gave the pop group "a memorable tour" of Splatlands, a distinctive, quirky far away region in the game. "I hope you appreciated it. We know where the Splatlands shine better than anyone," Shiver said in response to Callie.

"That natural beauty of Scorch Gorge was enchanting! And I had so much fun squeezing through the Hagglefish Market crowds," Callie shared. "Plus, there are all these super-tall buildings out here! Extraordinary! It was definitely a tour I'll never forget."

While Callie recalled their unforgettable time with the idol group exploring the Splatlands, Marie, meanwhile, teased her bandmate and told Off The Hook that they should all hang out together again. "I think Callie might cry at the fond memory of it," Marie said, then telling Off The Hook that they are due for their usual teatime that they haven't had in a considerable while.

"Yeah, not since our tour kicked off," Marina said and offered to check out a new sweets shop in Inkpolis Square together, with Pearl additionally telling Frye that she was also invited. "You're invited too, Frye. We'll settle our score from the last karaoke battle!"

In other news, Splatoon 3 just rolled out Patch Ver. 8.1.0 today, July 17. This update focuses on changes to multiplayer, including changes to specifications for some weapons, and "comfort of gameplay," according to the developers.

Nintendo said they also included changes to "prevent unintended signals from being sent in certain situations, changes to alleviate the issue of scattered weapons and gear blocking sight," and more. Nintendo stated in the update note that they "plan on releasing the next update at the end of the current season. In that update, we will make changes to multiplayer balance, including lowering the abilities of select weapons."
