Squad Busters Ends Win Streaks, Unveils Exclusive Emotes

Squad Busters is ditching Win Streaks! This means the days of climbing the endless win streak ladder for extra rewards are over. But don't worry, there's more to this update.

Why the Change and When?

Squad Busters found that the win streak system, instead of celebrating player skill, added unnecessary pressure and frustration. To alleviate this, the feature is being removed on December 16th. Your highest win streak will remain on your profile as a memento.

As a thank you for participating in the streak system, players who reached certain milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100 wins) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes. However, coins spent on boosting streaks will not be refunded. The developers cite game balance concerns between free-to-play and paying players as the reason.

Player reaction is mixed. Some welcome the less pay-to-win environment, while others are less enthusiastic about the change and the relatively modest compensation.
