Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

After leaving the Lesser Zone, your journey continues into the challenging Garbage area. Due to its distance from your starting base, encountering traders will take time.

Initially, your quest markers won't directly guide you to the Slag Heap hub. Progressing the main storyline is necessary; specifically, completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest unlocks its location. This involves visiting the Detention Center and the Laboratory before meeting Scar.

Following this, the game will direct you to the Slag Heap, located north of the laboratory. However, you can explore it earlier if desired. Within this hub, you'll find two valuable traders:

Boozer: Situated at the entrance, Boozer runs a bar, selling food and drinks while also accepting a wide variety of items for sale. He's hard to miss!
Huron: Found by heading left and entering the open door on your right, Huron specializes in weapons and gear. His room also serves as your stash location, and interacting with him initiates a side quest.

While not a trader, a crucial Tech is located at the back of the left corridor. You'll need to speak with Diode here to continue the main quest.
