In Stalker 2, the Poppy Field Anomalous Zone holds a unique Artifact: the Weird Flower. This guide details its location and use.
Weird Flower Location
The Weird Flower is located in the northern part of the Poppy Field, beyond the central L-shaped structure. Be warned: the field's effects induce drowsiness and hallucinations. Carry plenty of Non-Stop Energy Drinks to mitigate these effects. The Artifact is a small, blue flower on the ground.
Using the Weird Flower
Equip the Weird Flower in an available Artifact slot above your Quick Access menu. The number of slots varies depending on your gear; new players typically have only one.
The Weird Flower provides a temporary stealth bonus, but only after sleeping while equipped. A convenient sleeping spot is the bed in the side room of the Lesser Zone Trader's location. Note that sleeping may advance the in-game time significantly.
The Weird Flower's limited utility, due to scarce sleeping locations, makes it arguably dispensable. Many players might prefer direct confrontation over stealth, leading to its sale to a trader.
