miHoYo (HoYoverse) continues to expand the world of Zenless Zone Zero, introducing a captivating new heroine: Evelyn Chevalier. Even before her official release, Evelyn captured the hearts of many players thanks to a unique combat quirk revealed during testing—she dramatically removes her cape and uses it as a weapon against enemies.

Evelyn is an S-rank, Fire-element Assault character joining Nicole, Anton, and Qingyi in Zenless Zone Zero 1.5's second banner. The 1.5 update itself comes with the customary miHoYo (HoYoverse) Polychrome compensation: 300 for bug fixes and another 300 for technical improvements, delivered conveniently to your in-game mailbox.

Evelyn's gameplay centers on focused targeting. Her basic attacks draw enemies in, creating opportunities for extended attack chains. Multi-stage and special attacks bind her main target with "Forbidden Bounds," enhancing her damage output. These skills generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling her powerful fire-based abilities, ensuring significant damage to her foes. Her signature move, of course, remains the stylish cape-removal and projectile attack. Many players, familiar with early leaks, are already eagerly anticipating her arrival.
