The OBD2 engine ECU diagnostics tool, designed to work with a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth ELM327 adapter, offers comprehensive vehicle diagnostics for cars equipped with OBD2 systems. This tool not only displays real-time data from various electronic vehicle blocks but also allows you to save and review these graphics later. It provides the functionality to show and reset engine fault codes/DTC trouble codes, ensuring you can keep your vehicle running smoothly. Users can set custom min/max values for each sensor/PID, triggering an alarm when these thresholds are breached, helping to maintain optimal vehicle performance.

The diagnostics tool is compatible with both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi ELM327 OBD adapters, though for the best performance, it is recommended to use adapters from version 1.5, as versions up to 2.1 have received numerous complaints about incorrect operations.

Please note that ELM327 chips are compatible only with vehicles that support OBD2 protocols, which includes cars manufactured in the USA since 1996, in European countries since 2001 for gasoline and 2003 for diesel vehicles, and in Japan since approximately 2000.

Beyond standard OBDII parameters, the tool supports special parameters for various car brands, offering enhanced diagnostics for models from BMW, BYD, Chery, Chrysler/Dodge, Citroen, Daewoo, Fiat, Ford, Geely, GM/Chevrolet/Pontiac, GreatWall, Honda, Jeep, KIA, Hyundai, Land Rover, Lifan, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Skoda, SsangYong, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VAG, Volvo, VAZ, GAZ, ZAZ, and UAZ. The list of supported models and parameters is continuously updated to provide the most comprehensive coverage.

Not all PIDs listed for a specific car brand may be supported by your vehicle, but you can select the necessary PID types in the "Settings / PID types" section for convenience. For certain brands like Mitsubishi, users can even control various systems, such as turning on the cooling fan or gasoline pump.

To read MUT parameters and control actuators on Mitsubishi models with CAN bus (e.g., Montero/Pajero IV, Outlander 2), you need to set up a profile with the ISO 9141-2 protocol, while leaving other profiles set to ISO 15765-4 CAN (11bit 500K) or automatic for reading CAN parameters. Be aware that not all Mitsubishi CAN-bus models support ISO 9141-2 connectivity.

The tool offers extensive customization, allowing users to create their own parameters for a more tailored diagnostic experience.
