The inevitable has occurred: the much-anticipated release of GTA 6 has been pushed back. Initially slated for a 2025 launch, fans will now have to wait until May 26, 2026, to dive into what is likely the most eagerly awaited game ever. But don't despair—2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for gaming enthusiasts regardless of this delay. The year has already seen stellar releases such as *Clair Obscur: Expedition 33*, *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, *Blue Prince*, and *Split Fiction*, with many more titles on the horizon. From the samurai adventure *Ghost of Yotei* to the co-op madness of *Borderlands 4*, and even a new console and accompanying games from Nintendo, there's plenty to look forward to.
