Acquiring New Weapons

New weapons are primarily found within Overgrowths. While exploration yields various items, focusing on sword (Blades) or pistol (Rails) icons on the map directly leads to these weapon types.

Blades are melee weapons with unique movesets and abilities, while Rails are ranged weapons, each possessing distinct functionalities. Both come in varying rarities, with gold being the highest and offering superior stats.

Utilize the Cache function to store any discovered weapon in your personal stash instead of immediately equipping it. This allows strategic loadout customization before subsequent runs.

Obtaining New Starting Weapons

Beyond acquiring weapons during runs, the Cursed Outpost merchants offer new starting equipment for purchase. Initially, only the Blades merchant is accessible. Unlocking the Rails merchant requires sufficient materials to repair their shop.
