Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remaster Tomorrow

by Peyton May 13,2025

After months of swirling rumors and tantalizing leaks, it seems Bethesda is poised to officially unveil its much-anticipated remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion tomorrow. The excitement is palpable as Bethesda took to Twitter/X to announce a major reveal scheduled for tomorrow at 8am PT/11am ET, streaming live on both YouTube and Twitch.

The announcement teaser, featuring a prominent "IV" and a backdrop strikingly similar to iconic Oblivion artwork, leaves little room for doubt about what's on the horizon. The gaming community has been abuzz with speculation about an Oblivion remake for ages, fueled initially by a leaked 2020 Bethesda release schedule during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which hinted at an Oblivion remaster planned for fiscal year 2022. Although the timeline suggested in the leak had passed, making it seem like a potentially abandoned project, fresh leaks in January of this year reignited the hype, portraying the project as a comprehensive remake developed by Bethesda with assistance from Virtuos. The rumors reached a fever pitch last week when further leaks from Virtuos' website surfaced, showcasing images of the remake in progress.

If these recent leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered is set to launch on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Fans can also look forward to a Deluxe Edition that includes the infamous horse armor, adding a nostalgic touch to the revamped experience.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for what promises to be a thrilling confirmation and more juicy details about this eagerly awaited remaster.
