Exciting news awaits fans of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, especially those who enjoy the iconic Zombies mode. As part of the upcoming Season 2 update, set to launch on January 28, 2025, Treyarch is introducing several highly anticipated features that promise to elevate the gaming experience.
Since its debut in World at War over a decade ago, Zombies has remained a beloved and central component of the Call of Duty series. In Black Ops 6, not only does the round-based Zombies mode return, but it also features new, immersive locations designed to captivate players. The game is on the verge of implementing significant changes to further enhance this popular mode.
While multiplayer enthusiasts will find plenty to explore in Season 2, Zombies players are in for a treat with the introduction of the new Tomb map and a suite of new features. One of the most requested additions is the co-op pause option, which allows players within the same party to pause the game collectively. This feature, long sought after by the community, enables players to regroup, strategize, or take a much-needed break during intense rounds.
Challenge Tracking & Near Completion (Zombies and Multiplayer)
Co-op Pause
AFK Kick Loadout Recovery
Separate HUD Presets for Zombies and Multiplayer
Alongside the co-op pause, "AFK Kick Loadout Recovery" is another significant addition. This feature allows players who were kicked for inactivity to rejoin the game and reclaim their original loadout, ensuring they don't lose valuable progression. This is particularly important in Zombies, where maintaining weapons, perks, and points can be critical to success.
Additionally, players will soon be able to create separate HUD presets for multiplayer and Zombies, streamlining the gaming experience by removing the hassle of adjusting settings when switching between modes. Finally, the ability to manually track up to 10 Calling Card Challenges and Camo Challenges for both modes will make navigating through Black Ops 6's extensive collection of challenges more manageable and user-friendly.
