PC Alpha Went Live on August 6, 2024!

The Delta Force PC Alpha Test went live at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would close on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for the United States.

Fans eager to dive into the action had several opportunities to secure their spot in the Alpha Test. These included:

• Watching Delta Force Twitch Streams to receive Twitch Drops

Additionally, the official Twitter/X account frequently offered Alpha Test codes during special events and milestones.

July 24 Update: New Alpha Test Date Announced

Delta Force announced a new date for the previously delayed Alpha test on August 6, 2024. Enthusiasts could try their luck at getting in through the official website, the official Steam page, or by snagging keys via Twitch drops or giveaways. One notable giveaway on their official Twitter/X account saw 100 lucky winners receiving codes for the Alpha test.

July 16 Update: Alpha Test Postponed

From the pre-alpha test held from July 11 - 15, the developers identified several critical errors that disrupted gameplay for the limited number of participants. As a result, they had to postpone the July Alpha test to focus on fixing the game and ensuring a top-notch experience for players.

Initially Scheduled Alpha Test

Delta Force was initially set to hold its Alpha Test starting July 18, with no end date announced. Fans could attempt to gain access by filling out player surveys on the official website, requesting access on the official Steam page, or watching Twitch streams to receive Steam keys as Twitch Drops.

The pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 served as a stress test, allowing a small subset of players early access. Requesting access through all available channels might have increased the chances of early participation.

The Alpha Test was exclusively for PC, accessible through the game's official client or Steam. Note that access to one platform did not guarantee access to the other, as cross-progression was not available during the alpha test.
