⚫︎ The first gameplay footage of Final Fantasy XIV Mobile has been unveiled through the game's official account on the Chinese video platform Bilibili. The video offers a glimpse into combat sequences, featuring nine initial playable jobs: Warrior, Paladin, Bard, Black Mage, Summoner, Monk, Dragoon, Scholar, and White Mage. Even though the characters are at low levels, the footage demonstrates a user interface that has been thoughtfully optimized for touchscreen devices.

⚫︎ Square Enix has officially announced that Final Fantasy XIV Mobile, crafted by Tencent's Lightspeed Studios, will kick off with the A Realm Reborn storyline. This decision allows both seasoned fans and newcomers to dive into the MMORPG from its refreshed starting point.

Following months of speculation, the announcement came with a Q&A video featuring producer Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida, who provided insights into the game's narrative structure and future rollout plans. While the mobile version will initially launch in China, a global release is anticipated to follow.

Yoshida also mentioned that the game's extensive content will be released in stages, with the possibility of adjusting the update schedule based on player feedback.
