Contrary to what the name might suggest, Goatskin in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is not the skin of a goat, but rather a character you need to find as part of the main story quest, "Into the Underworld." Your journey to locate Goatskin will lead you to Kuttenberg, where you're tasked by Katherine to seek him out at the inn. However, if you're looking to bypass the lengthy process of trapping and cornering him, we've got you covered with a straightforward path to find him.

To find Goatskin, head to the barn located behind the tailor’s shop, next to the Black Horse tavern. Enter the barn and discreetly climb the ladder to the top. Remember, this is a private area, so stealth is key.

Once you're on the upper floor of the barn, proceed straight and drop down into a courtyard. From there, climb onto a carriage and enter another barn through a window. Make your way to the top, and you'll find Goatskin. It's crucial to do this during the day, as he moves to a different location at night. Before engaging in conversation, save your game. You'll need to pass several dialogue checks to progress the quest without paying; failing these can cost you 150 groschen, or up to 500 groschen if you don't succeed in the skill checks.
That's the most efficient way to find Goatskin in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips, information on romance options, and advice on the best perks to start with, be sure to visit The Escapist.
