What’s The Scoop On Warframe: 1999?

First up, Warframe: 1999 is slated to launch in Winter 2024 across all current platforms. Set in an alternate, grungy Earth in 1999, this narrative promises to be steeped in mystery and secrets. Players will join forces with six iconic Protoframes to chase down Dr. Entrati before the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve.

The best news from TennoCon 2024 is that you won’t have to wait until winter to dive into the action. This August, the 1999 Prologue Quest, ‘The Lotus Eaters,’ will be available on all platforms. It’s launching alongside Sevagoth Prime, bringing exclusive weapons and accessories into the mix.

What Else Is In Store?

The annual Digital Extremes celebration at TennoCon 2024 also showcased several other exciting reveals. Meet Cyte-09, the new Warframe. This former fortune hunter turned sharpshooting marksman, complete with a stylish beret, is part of Arthur’s team. Bring his skills from 1999 into the present-day Origin System and impress everyone with his vintage sharpshooting prowess.

Prepare for the Infested 90’s Boy Band Hunts, where Infested Liches are styled after the 90’s boy band On-lyne. Nick Apostolides, known from Resident Evil 4, makes a special appearance. The event also introduced new mounts like the Atomicyle, a cool ride capable of drifting, bullet-jumping, and even causing explosions.
