This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, provided a detailed update on the game's upcoming features, responding directly to the community's wishlist.

In InZOI, players will soon enjoy the innovative feature of using real facial capture to create templates for crafting zois. This functionality, which was highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, will be further streamlined to simplify the creation process, as emphasized by Kjun. Additionally, although not available during the early access phase, players can look forward to having pets in the game, aligning with Kjun's personal passion for animals.

The game environment will include tall buildings, with a maximum of 30 floors. This cap is set to ensure optimal performance, even though the game engine is capable of supporting higher constructions. Players will also encounter gas stations and engage in fights within the game. Responding to community feedback, Kjun has enhanced the combat system. The earlier slap mechanic, which was perceived as lacking depth, has been replaced with more comprehensive fights that will now feature clear winners and losers.

Recognizing the influx of newcomers to the genre, InZOI will include a tutorial to help players get started. This thoughtful addition showcases the developers' commitment to accessibility and player satisfaction.

Krafton continues to plan for the early access release of InZOI at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. The anticipation builds as fans eagerly await these exciting new features and enhancements.
