EA Motive and SEED are set to unveil their innovative "Texture Sets" technology at the upcoming Game Developers Conference, spotlighting its application in games like Dead Space, Iron Man, and others. This cutting-edge approach consolidates related texture sets into a singular resource, enhancing processing efficiency and enabling the creation of new textures. Leading the presentation will be EA's lead technical artist, Martin Palko, who will delve into the intricacies of texture and graphics development.

Attendees at the conference might be treated to gameplay footage or detailed insights into the games in development. Particularly, fans of the Iron Man game, announced in 2022, are eager for updates after a prolonged silence from the developers. Speculation about the project's potential cancellation has circulated, but EA Motive's participation in GDC firmly indicates ongoing development. The event is scheduled from March 17 to 21, 2025.

Details about the Iron Man game remain sparse, but it's confirmed to be a single-player experience with RPG elements, set in an open world, and developed using Unreal Engine 5. Fans can also expect the integration of the flight system from Anthem, a technology EA Motive has previously refined.
